Title : Technical/Support Engineer
JOB DURATION : 12+ months
LOCATION : E. Providence, RI
F2F after initial phone screen.
I am looking for a TECHNICAL SUPPORT or an APPLICATION SUPPORT or a TECHNICAL
LEAD any sort of Technical/Support Engineer. I DO NOT WANT A JAVA DEVELOPER I
DO NOT WANT A webshpere admin. Looking for someone who is experienced with
Windows, Unix, WEBSPHERE, sql, oracle, db2 is nice and any sort of image
processing or check processing (CPCS) is huge.
Required Skills:
a.. Monitor, troubleshoot and repair application software issues. Escalate to
Senior Support technician as necessary.
b.. Uses fact finding techniques and analytic tools to identify problems
c.. Takes a systematic approach to problem solving
d.. Looks beneath the surface to identify root cause
e.. Recognizes the need to escalate problems to a higher level
f.. Delivers the performance that colleagues require
g.. Takes personal ownership for problems-follows through to ensure that
solutions meet needs.
h.. Effectively documents solutions
i.. Ensures knowledge transfer to work group/project peers
j.. Demonstrates critical thinking
k.. Identifies and analyses improvement opportunities
l.. Troubleshoots and effectively resolves difficult or unusual problems.
m.. Effective in solving problems in a team environment
Technical Knowledge:
Wintel; Windows XP; Windows 2000; Websphere; Unix; SQL; Oracle; CPCS; DB2
People Management:
Provide technical support and coaching to team members
Strong command of English Language
