LOCAL CANDIDATES PREFERRED, WILL NOT PAY FOR TRAVEL OR RELOCATION. *Skills/Years required: *Reporting to the Deployment Manager, the Deployment Engineer will be part of a team of engineers providing middleware administration support, managing application releases, build and deployment scripts, and support the deployment of software applications, updates, configurations and content for an eCommerce division. *Qualifications: *The qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill sets, and abilities desired in order to be successful in this role. - Bachelor's degree in computer science, or equivalent degree/work experience. - 3+ years of middleware administration and application deployment experience (JBOSS, Apache tomcat, Websphere, etc.). - Extensive experience with the tools and techniques associated with code deployment and release management (Subversion, ANT, Maven, CruiseControl etc). - Significant experience automating build and deployment related functions in a Unix / Linux environment. Experience with Perl, Python, Ksh, Bash, etc. is required. - Strong understanding of the design and requirement of a multi tiered architecture: Web servers (Apache, IBM HTTP Server, etc.), Application servers (JBOSS, Tomcat, Websphere.), Database Servers (DB2, MySQL, etc.). - Strong customer-service skills *Essential Functions: *** - In consultation with Software Engineering, Release Management, etc, perform software deployment functions to test and production websites. - Perform application and middleware configuration changes in all environments - Perform routine application administration functions * * *Please provide me with ur consultant details:* Name contact Present location Relocation Visa status Contact Billing rate . *Please remember that when you submitt a candidate to me you will include there social security number.
