Start date : 23rd feb 2009 This individual will be responsible for steering the application architecture across multiple application development teams. The person will be also be responsible for coordinating and making decisions for overall technology architecture for the modernization along with infrastructure, integration and data architects as part of the technology steering team. Should be Able to support the following application architecture guidelines • Decrease Complexity and Increase Maintainability by Creating Consistency Across Applications and Documentation • Increase IT's Operational Efficiency by Managing Technical Debt and Standardizing Processes • Ensure that IT becomes an Organizational Asset by Maintaining or Surpassing the Velocity of Business • Inject Resilience and Tolerance by Crafting Flexible Platforms, Teams and Processes • Decrease Overall Risks by Creating and Enabling a Foundation for Execution • Create Analytical Value and Allow Self Serving Around Clean Data • Remove Ambiguity by Capturing, Maintaining and Sharing the perating Model for oth Customer Facing and Internal Processes • Allow Scalability of Teams and Processes through the Use of Scalable Technology Familiarity with the IBM Java Technology Stack a plus.
