Complete Description: Programmer Analyst - Enterprise The following are the skills required for the position of Programmer Analyst on the GLI project. Job responsibilities include the design, development and implementation for an existing application using IBM WebSphere and J2EE. Heavy emphasis will be placed on Integrating new design changes to our exiting application. Also provide performance enhancements to improve our throughput and response times to our highly available client facing application. Prior Experience Candidates must have: •At least 3-6 years experience designing and implementing three tier systems. •Experience with WebSphere™ Studio (RAD/WSAD) desirable. •Experience in utilizing EJB technology for the management of persistence and object/relational mapping with Java EE. •Experience with J2EE technologies, IBM WebSphere MQ, IBM WebSphere App Server and IIS. •Heavy Experience with Programming languages: JAVA, etc… desirable •Strong Problem Resolution and Debugging Skills •Experience in JMS, XML transformation, Oracle, JDBC, Toplink, Struts, Linux scripting andBladeLogic. •Experience in Servlet, JSP, JAVA Script, XSLT and HTML •Extensive knowledge of Object Oriented Design and Development. •Experience and / or some exposure with Solaris, Unix and Linux preferred •Good Communications skills. Must be able to articulate very precise technical problems and solutions while conversing with management and other members of the programming staff. •Technical classes w/o associated certification desirable.
