Following is a description of Urgent Requirement Oracle Support Analyst.
Duration: 9+ Months
Location: Trumbull, CT
*Key areas of responsibility:*
• Create and maintain documentation in collaboration with
corporate staff in order to facilitate the migration of existing corporate
applications to a new data center.
• Coordinate, Perform and complete User Acceptance Testing to
customer standards and practices.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical
personnel.
• Work with applications using various platforms including client
server, web based and UNIX back end database/data warehouse processing.
• Work in a diverse technical environment on software written
in-house as well as Vendor supported applications
Strong written and oral communications skills, self starter, able to take an
assignment and work independently.
*Senior Level Experience Required in:*
- UNIX, LINUX, Windows XP, Windows Server
- Oracle, SQL Server
*Mid Level Experience Required in:*
- Shell scripting, PERL scripting
*Desired Experience in:*
- Business Objects, Interspec, BEA Aqualogics
- Web Interpreters (dot Net, IIS, Cold Fusion)
*MUST HAVE:*
Proficient with Oracle overall for diagnosing issues.
Proficient with UNIX Command Line and Shell Scripting in AIX environment
Perl experience
Windows XP
Experience in a Support role, NOT DEVELOPMENT
strong communication skills are a must.
This is a combination of business analyst and support so both those job
duties on a resume will be beneficial. this is not a development position so
