Title: Sr. Informatica Developer (LOCAL ONLY) Location:Bridgewater, NJ Duration:6 months Rate: 30 – 35$ GENERAL DESCRIPTION: As part of the design and development process the applicant will need excellent written and verbal skills and should be able to express the designs to both end-users and technical development staff (internal and external). The position of Senior Informatica Developer is for an IT professional who has over 7 years of IT experience and at least 4 years of experience in design and development of data movement and data transformation programs using Informatica PowerCenter 8.x. The applicant should have an in-depth working experience of relational data bases such as Oracle. RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Responsible for preparing the technical specifications from the business requirements 2. Responsible for the design and development of ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter 8.x 3. Responsible for developing database applications using Oracle, Pl/Sql and UNIX shell scripts 4. Work with the users to collect and understand the requirements 5. Responsible for communicating with other IT groups in collecting the requirements and also implementing the applications. 6. Manages the integrity and reliability of the data. 7. Develop and maintain the detailed project documentation 8. Production Support as needed. QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Expert in designing and developing the ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter 8.x under UNIX and Oracle environment – MUST 2. Highly knowledgeable in data warehousing concepts and technologies - PREFERRED 3. In depth experience with client server applications and architectures – MUST 4. In depth hands on experience in Oracle – MUST 5. In depth understanding and development experience using SQL, Pl/Sql and UNIX scripting languages – MUST 6. Proficiency with the Windows Server and UNIX (Sun Solaris) operating systems - MUST 7. Excellent Written and Verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with senior business and technical IT management – MUST 8. Strong Analytical and problem solving abilities – MUST 9. Informatica experience in working with DB2 database – PREFERRED 10. Informatica administration and performance tuning experience – PREFERRED 11. General experience with business applications in the areas of supply chain management, production control and finance – PREFERRED 12.
