*SAS APPLICATION ENGINEER * Seasoned professional with a BS degree in software engineering or equivalent discipline, along with 4-6 years technical work experience. Requires at least 4 years experience working in an Application development environment, including working-knowledge of software development methodology and tools for component-based, object-oriented development. Minimum of 3 years professional experience developing with SAS platform (application and database). Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience integrating vendor packages and database applications using ETL tools namely Informatica. Minimum 2 years experience on Oracle and using SQL*Loader, PL/SLQ, Oracle SPROCs. Experience developing and maintaining metadata repositories. Experience with Java in a Unix and/or AIX environment is a plus. Experience in Retail is highly desired in the areas of planning, mark down optimization and allocation Requires excellent interpersonal, communication (verbal and written), and technical skills, including the ability to successfully work as part of a team. Requires the ability to work within a formal project management structure, accepting ownership and accountability for task estimates and deliverable dates.
