Position: Systems Administrator (TFS) Location:Baltimore, MD Duration: 6-9 months Start Date: ASAP Interviews: Immediate Job Description/Overview: This person will have the ability to work in a challenging, fast paced, team environment. The ideal candidate will help support a 24/7 (on-call required) production environment and have the abilities and drive to perform the day-to-day management, maintenance, optimization, backup, and ongoing reporting requirements of the TFS systems. Required Skills: • Written and Oral communication skills are mandatory • Participate in the Installation, Configuration, and Deployment of TFS Farms • Upgrading and Patching of TFS and its related systems • Authentication and Security Configuration for TFS using Visual Studio Team System • Configuration, Analysis, and Tuning of both the Data tier and TFS front end and build servers • System Monitoring and Log Analysis • Deploy and configure sites, lists and web parts, Content types, workflows, etc • Ability to create site, list templates, and master templates, Process Templates, etc • Knowledge of Visual Studio Team System 2005/2008 • Agile and CMMI development processes • Analysis services for SQL Server admin Preferred Skills: • Backup Configuration, Implementation, and Monitoring.
