Job Classification: Systems QA Analyst
Experience Level: Bachelor's degree plus 5-7 years related experience
including familiarity with testing automation tools.
Description:
Responsibilities will include participating in the creation, preparation
and conduct of quality assurance reviews and the development and execution of
test plans and test cases; helping to establish and maintain a consistent test
methodology and to resolve general questions during the testing process.
Possibly coordinate testing activities on a project and work closely with
business and technology partners during the project cycle.
Develop and maintain automated test scripts, contribute towards the
enhancement of an existing automation framework and certify
application-specific software; perform ambiguity reviews of business
requirements and functional specification documents.
Use functional knowledge of applications to provide technical assistance
in identifying, evaluating, and resolving moderately complex test problems.
Log, track, and verify resolution of software and specification defects.
Document all phases of QA process.
Preferred skills:
Familiar with Agile Software Development practices a plus
Ability to interact and communicate effectively with developers and
business analysts in a team environment
Strong background using automation test tools, e.g. Watir, FIT, TMX,
JIRA, QTP, GreenHat Tester, Soapscope Tester
Prior financial/banking experience
Prior programming experience a plus
