Job Description:
Looking for an opportunity to work for a leading Fortune 500 company? We
have and exciting and immediate opportunity for an experienced C programmer to
deliver software solutions. You will design, develop, code, test, and debug new
software or significant enhancements to existing software. Work with technical
staff to understand problems with software and develop specifications to
resolve them. Resolve customer complaints and respond to suggestions for
improvements and enhancements. May act as team leader on less complex projects.
This position includes rotating on-call nights and weekends.
5+ years of hands on programming experience in a business environment,
demonstrated system analysis and software development experience is required.
Experience developing business applications with C programming, SQL data
access, and UNIX script is required along with the ability to work on multiple
projects. Working with customers to provide the appropriate technical solutions
is desired. Additionally, Datastage ETL, Cognos report writing, Teradata,
Tivoli, and SDLC are pluses. Must have strong organizational, planning,
interpersonal and communication skills.
