Description:

Location: Chicago, IL
Duration: 3 months
Rate: $50/hr
Face to face needed after telephonic round.
Deliverables:
1. Design documentation for an extensible application development
framework (ADF) based on the Cognos 8.3 SDK
2. Working implementation releases of the custom ADF
3. Documentation specifying the proper use, extension, maintenance, and
testing of the ADF
4. Working implementation of a custom Web application or Cognos
Connection-based application using the ADF
5. Documentation specifying the proper use, extension, maintenance, and
testing of the application

Required Skills:
. Deep experience with the Cognos 8.3 SDK, the object model, and the
development of customer facing Web applications
. Deep experience with Cognos Connection
. Deep Experience with J2EE development
. Experience with Web Services development
. Experience with the Rational Application Developer IDE a plus
. Experience with the Rational Unified Process and associated SDLC
technologies (i.e., ClearCase, ClearQuest, ReqPro, Rose and SODA);
. Experience with, JUnit, JSP, Struts, Hibernate, Spring, etc.
. Experience with the AIX Operating System and DB2/UDB V9 a plus
. Strong analytic, problem solving, and collaborative skills;
. A degree in Computer Science, a related discipline, or equivalent work
experience.
