Consultant will install, customize, and integrate the client’s USP- Hitachi Universal Storage Platform using CommVault SW/ *Hitachi Data Protection Suite* *Requirements:* *1. *Must have 2-5 yrs experience with* HDS-branded CommVault SW* -- *Hitachi Data Protection Suite on *the* *HDS platforms including Hitachi Universal Storage Platform USP-V or USP** *a. **Backup/Restore Operations * * i. **SME of application and OS characteristics of Unix, Windows, Oracle, Solaris, HP-UX etc.as they relate to backup.* *b. **Storage Provisioning (tuning & load balancing)* *c. **Startup/Shutdown Procedures * *2. **Software requirements include: (75% min)* *a. **HYnM* *b. **NDLM* *c. **HUR* *d. **HDvM* *e. **Relipcation Manager* *f. **HTSM* *g. **Boss-V* 3. Mid to Sr. understanding of NAS experience Hitachi Network Attached Storage (NAS) 4. Perform necessary storage infrastructure maintenance in accordance with internal best practices. 5. Maintaining multi-tiered storage infrastructure leveraging HDS hardware and software 6. Participate in the execution of the business continuance and disaster recovery plans. 7. Participate in the design and operational execution of the customer's storage disaster recovery process. 8. Must be able to interface effectively with all levels of the organization. 9. Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be strong and effective communicator 10.
