Subject: Announcement from Lieutenant Governor Pat Quinn's Office
Lt. Gov. Pat Quinn will soon be convening the second meeting of his
newly-formed Asian American Advisory Council. As his office is
preparing the next agenda, we are asking the community for any
legislative or other issues/ideas that you might have regarding the
Asian American/Pacific Islander community that the council can look
into.
Also, the Office of the Lt. Gov. is compiling a list of events coming
up in the Asian American/Pacific Islander community. If you have an
event that you would like! for us to know about, please e-mail the
information to [EMAIL PROTECTED].
Finally, the Office of the Lt. Gov. would like to announce that we
are looking for part-time unpaid interns to help with Asian
American/Pacific Islander issues. If you or anyone you know would
