To build a sense of community around frivolous activities, I decided to
submit a tongue-in-cheek report as the unofficial social co-chair.
Members in attendance: Shashi, Nilofer, Cyriac, Ali, Sanji, Prateek along
with siblings/friends
Report: mtg. at McDonald's, where Shashi witnessed a "robbery" as he called
it, of $100 from my wallet, and i filed a useless police report. we
almost had quorum.
$5 Bhangra party with live dhol. no fights broke out. my legs were
injured by lactic acid formation after all the exercise, however.
overall, fun.
Upcoming events: To be determined. Soliciting company for the next
showing of disOriented this Thanksgiving weekend. other ideas include
watching "Bombay Boys" the movie (in English), or trendy Bollywood films
now playing in theaters like "Kal Ho Na Ho."
