I like Sapna's suggestions.   I would add Vikram Chandra - he has nearly finished his third book and might be doing readings from it.  His first two books won several awards "Red Earth and Pouring Rain" and "Love and Longing in Bombay"  It would be easy for me to contact him if you wish.   Shruthi
