Location: San Jose – Local only – Cisco exp a plus
Duration: 3-6 months

Experience:
Solid understanding of automated general ledger systems, Oracle
Applications preferred
Solid understanding of issues and best practices for general ledger
and account reconciliation business processes in a complex, global,
multi-entity manufacturing organization
7+ years of experience in an analysis or support role for general
ledger systems, Oracle Applications preferred
7+ years of full SDLC implementation experience
Knowledge of SOX and compliance requirements relevant to general
ledger preferred
Strong written and oral communications skills a must
Expert analytical and problem solving skills
Chesapeake T-Recs and Quality Center experience a plus
The Business Analyst role during the Project LifeCycle (PLC):

PLC Stage       Business Analyst Responsibilities
ID & AssessCreate the value case
Create As-Is and To-Be process documentation
Create business requirements document (BRDs)
Analysis
Conduct a business impact analysis to understand potential impacts to
both systems and business processes. Considers several alternatives in
determining the final approach for the solution (balancing system
changes with business process changes).
Work with IT to complete functional specification documents (including
defining workflow, process flows, and potential screen shots if
applicable)
Engage the Organization Adoption (OA) team to begin the creation of
the communications and training plans
Design
Create detailed test plans, test cases, and test results in Quality
Center
Further refine the communications and training plans
Begin formulating initial service level agreements (where applicable)
Build
Coordinate systems and user acceptance testing
Report, analyze and facilitate resolution of issues resulting from
testing
Finalize the communication and training plans
Implement
Complete all required testing and documentation (i.e. procedures,
training manuals, FAQs, etc)
Assist with the execution of the training plan with the OA team
Define the business support processes
Support & Maintain
Assist with post-production support activities to stabilize the
system.
Assist with the post-implementation review (post mortem)
