Our client includes five acute care hospitals – each offering a broad range
of medical services including: internal medicine, general surgery,
cardiology, orthopedics, mother and infant care, diagnostic imaging, and
emergency services.
This position reports to the facility Chief Financial Officer.
*Position Highlights:*
v The Assistant Chief Financial Officer is responsible for assisting in
implementing the processes for planning, organizing and directing the fiscal
services of a hospital.
v Working in conjunction with the CFO and his/her designees, this position
will help to develop and administer hospital policies on finance,
accounting, business office, admitting, materials management and internal
controls.
v In addition, the Assistant CFO will assist in establishing goals,
objectives and standards for all areas of responsibility that report to the
hospital CFO.
v This candidate will be an active participant in developing the annual
strategic plan for the hospital.
v The Assistant Chief Financial Officer position is designed to prepare
this employee to move into a Chief Financial Officer role.
v Following sufficient mentoring and successful demonstration of ability to
perform independently, this candidate would be expected to move into an open
CFO role within the larger hospital system.
*Note: MUST HAVE HOSPITAL EXPERIENCE.*
