*Requirements & Description:*
The SAP Process Analyst will provide business process and system integration
expertise to the business and act as a liaison between the business, the
systems analyst, and the technical SAP group. Specific business areas the
SAP Process Analyst will support include Marketing, Direct Sales (Web Sales,
Telesales, B2B, etc.), and Sales Accounting. The SAP Process Analyst will
also work closely with the various teams that manage and support Order
Fulfillment. The SAP Process Analyst will identify workable solutions using
existing functionality in SAP and/or drive the decision for new enhancements
to SAP

Job Duties:

Business Analysis
Methods
Effectively gather and document business requirements based on team
methodology
Create new BPPs and PDDs as new processes are designed, and update existing
documents as processes change
Create high-level process flows of existing Finance and Accounting business
processes
Develop and deliver training for the business on new and existing SAP
functionality
Coordinate system testing for enhancements and projects

Technical/Functional Expertise
Maintain and enhance functional and technical expertise in assigned SAP
modules (FI, SD, and MM) and business areas (Finance and Accounting)
Develops and maintains technical expertise in various other tools and
software as needed (Resite, Quickbase, Quality Center, etc.)
Research SAP topics and share information with the business users as
appropriate in coordination with the EIT


Problem Solving and Critical Analysis
Identify and understand issues, problems, and opportunities; compare data
from different sources to draw conclusions; use effective approaches for
choosing a course of action or developing appropriate solutions; take action
that is consistent with available facts, constraints, and probable
consequences
Probe for understanding and thoughtfully put forth opposing views and
alternative solutions

Communication
Convey clear information and ideas through a variety of media to individuals
or groups in a manner that engages the audience and helps them understand
and retain the message
Develop and use collaborative relationships to accomplish work goals
Maintain continuous contact with Business Owner/Process Owner to
understanding their needs and priorities
Effectively translate technical concepts into business concepts
Effectively explain and translate business requirements for EIT
Demonstrate concise verbal and written communication
Anticipate and champion needed communication
Demonstrate active listening skills
Build and maintain effective relationships with various business contacts
Appropriately escalate issues objectively and timely

Leadership -
Business Area/Organization
Champion business engagement in projects and initiatives
Set high standards of performance for self and others; assumes
responsibility and accountability for successfully completing assignments or
tasks; self-impose standards of excellence rather than having standards
imposed
Take prompt action to accomplish objectives; take action to achieve goals
beyond what is required; act proactively
Lead cross functional teams to achieve best solutions for the business
Provide project management leadership as needed

Team
Take an active role in developing team processes, infrastructure, and tools
Provide feedback on process improvement opportunities
Participate in the completion of common goals

Education and Experience:
A four year degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent
A minimum of 4 years functional business experience in Sales, Supply Chain,
or Finance, or equivalent functional experience
SAP knowledge and functional experience using the SD, MM, FI and CO modules
Prior experience creating business and system process flows and narratives
Prior experience creating training documentation
Project management skills
Experience working with SOD violations as part of Sarbanes Oxley
requirements
General knowledge and exposure to SAP CRM is a plus

General Requirements:
Knowledge of project management and software development life cycle(SDLC)
methodologies
Understanding of SAP ASAP methodology
Fundamental understanding of financial concepts such as a P&L, Balance
Sheet, Debits, Credit, Opex vs. Capex, etc.)
MS Office Tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Explorer)
Knowledge of Business Process Management concepts and methodology a plus
Prior experience using Quality Center a plus
Prior experience with Intuit Quickbase a plus

Additional Requirements:
Use of hands and fingers
Occasional Travel
Occasional weekend and alternate work hours required

Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs. Documents
requirements, defines scope and objectives, and formulates systems to
parallel overall business strategies.
Minimum Required Skills / Competencies: FUNCTIONAL and TECHNICAL SKILLS:
Proficiency with MS Office Tools (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Visio)
Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize work, multi-task across many
assignments, and create deliverables with some direction
Technical writing skills producing clear and unambiguous process
documentation and project artifacts
Some exposure to business process and system modeling tools (data flow
diagrams, process documentation, etc.)
Advanced skills/expertise with MS Excel, Project


EXPERIENCE:
5+ years of experience as a business analyst or similar role
Experience in telecommunications industry preferred

Interpersonal, relationship building skills
Strong analytical skills
Preferred skills: The candidate needs to have specific SAP skills in modules
such at SD, FI, CO and MM. Candidate should also have business process
management experience (creating process flow and narratives and SAP
