Release management Analyst Rate is $35/Hr the max -NY-New York *Job Length:* 5 Months *Job Description: * *Release Management . Work within the release management framework . Ensure that there are no conflicts with change activities due to take place in QA, UAT, and PROD environments . Ensure Production Readiness Criteria have been met before an application is accepted . Ensure back out plans are available and implemented when necessary . Provide feedback on critical success factors with regards to the success of the release . Root cause / trend analysis - proactively review changes that have adversely impacted production environment and take action to ensure that this is not repeated . Proactively seek ways to provide a better service (e.g. automation of repetitive tasks, new products or enhancements, maximisation of service availability) . Implement, maintain and look for ways to enhance business applications Application Risk Management . Pre-production sign-off and implementation of change into QA, UAT, and Production environment . IBD IT development interface . Ensure adequate BCM for new and existing apps . Involvement in specification, testing and implementation of new applications Problem Management . Act as a point of escalation and/or reference for the IBD IT GSD Support team in order to minimise the impact of incidents and problems and maximise service availability. Use technical and analytical expertise and knowledge of systems to resolve problems internally or through external parties that cannot be resolved by GSD Support team within specified service levels and which are escalated for further investigation .
