Job Title: Sr. Cognos Report Writer Location: Beaverton, OR Summary You will analyze business intelligence and reporting needs and be responsible for creating complex reports for Order Fulfillment Reporting Team using Best Practices. Key Deliverables Service Provider will assist the client in driving the BI Dashboard & drill-through solution for the Order fulfillment group. Must be highly proficient in the Cognos Business Intelligence Suite and specifically be strong with Cognos Report Studio, Query Studio and must have very strong SQL skills. Skills/Roles Required for this Position: 5+ years experience in OLAP server technology designing data models, metadata, cubes and drill-thru reports 4+ years of total Cognos experience (Series 8, Report Studio, Query Studio, and Framework Manager). 3+ year database optimization and SQL tuning experience 3+ years customizing Cognos Connection and customizing report studio report styles Working knowledge of BI concepts and data warehousing concepts Development through complex report and cube development Understanding of Cognos 8 Metrics and Cognos 8 BI integration Experience in Report Development Experience with Balance Scorecard Methodology Nice to Have/Highly Desired, but not required: Framework Manager Degrees and/or Certificates Required/Preferred: Report Studio, Query Studio, Metadata, COGNOS CERTIFIED A PLUS.
