The Data Warehouse Data Modeler is responsible for gathering and documenting
end-user requirements for the data warehouse, defining the mapping necessary
in the logical model that is the basis of the physical database design for
the data warehouse, developing functional specifications for end user report
requests, developing a process for any necessary cleansing of the data,
participating in the data warehouse prioritization process, developing and
executing test plans, and developing report sets for new subject area
rollouts.
This is for a 6-9 month contract for an expert-level SQL Server OLAP
developer responsible for selecting, designing and implementing the
framework for our data warehouse and reporting system. This person will also
train the permanent data warehouse developer as necessary to facilitate a
smooth handoff when the contract is over. No option to hire is desired.
