Complete Description:
Individual will play a lead role in developing and managing the
technology architecture element for a multi-year SAP enterprise
implementation. Must be able to balance the needs of delivering the
program, while ensuring solutions and decisions fall within the
established strategy and architecture of overall Clint's IT enterprise
infrastructure.
Will be required to design and deliver the infrastructure within
specified (assigned) domains (network, data center, desktop, technical
integration) in to meet the technical requirements of the project
while operating within the architecture, methods and processes of the
clients. Accountability for leading design activities and producing
the appropriate artifacts on infrastructure projects within and as
technical consultant support to the solution architects.
Responsible for the appropriate engagement with Clint's Technical
Architects on matters pertaining to design, implementation and
management/operations.
Ensure that client's technical strategies, policies, standards and
practices are applied correctly and consistently.
Strong skills with general infrastructure architecting and environment
management. Exposure to SAP software and environments is required**
Heavy experience architecting multi-platform solutions for large scale
implementations in environments that involve middle-ware, transaction
processing and application software/hardware
Broad skills and knowledge around IT methods, practices, and processes
including skills with managing infrastructure and services connected
to IT business strategy teams
Expert in Operating Infrastructure - Knowledge of the IT
infrastructure (hardware, databases, operating systems, local area
networks etc) within a manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of Distributor business systems and operations
Strong skills communicating the uses of infrastructure to division
leadership. Skilled and experienced at interacting with senior IT
executives
