MS-SQL-DBA:
The client is looking for a Senior level MS-SQL DBA who can help
optimize the client application DB We’re looking at an immediate 4-8
week engagement.
MS-SQL 2005/2008 on VMware ESX 4
The application that runs on the DB was built by the client in three
tiers, Data, Business, and Presentation. The Data and Business tiers
are in MS-SQL and this is where the client needs help.
I would like someone for this initial engagement who we could pull if
we needed them after.
Work to be done
Help resolve timeouts and deadlocks
Optimize disk storage for 35 year data retention
Optimize performance
