*Duration: 12 months plus* * * *Technical Requirements:* Senior Java Developer/J2EE Architect with strong development and environment administration and configuration skills. Several years experience working with Spring architecture, Java, and SQL Server. Background in using Spring Framework tools such as Spring Roo and/or Grails. Experience in development, cycle, and production environment setup for client server and/or distributed applications. Experience in creating and maintaining build processes for code promotion between test, cycle, and production environments. Strong understanding of Java best practices, system scalability, and performance tuning. * * *Required Skills:* Experience using Spring Framework tools such as Spring Roo or Grails Experience using Tomcat and/or Jetty application servers Experience in JSP/Servlet, HTML, and scripting development for web applications Strong database understanding using SQL Server Experience in system architecture and design Experience in technology integration Experience using third-party add-ons and/or add-on development Deep knowledge of object oriented programming and software development life cycle * * *Preferred Skills:* Background in Hibernate Background using Apache Maven Experience working with JUnits for test case generation Be a solution provider as this person will be responsible for delivery of successful system architecture of new applications utilized by business and IT users. Have excellent communication skills and be able to interact with individuals at the user, IT lead, director, and enterprise architecture level. Be able to deliver work under scheduled deadlines. *Responsibilities: * System architecture design and setup of a new development, cycle, and production environment to support a client-side Java application. Mentor and lead Java developers on derived development approach for an implemented solution. Design and develop Java/JSP forms for client-side application. Devise build process for code deployment for test, cycle, and production environments. Work closely with solution architects to comply with HCSC standards.
