Business Analyst A large investment bank located in downtown Manhattan seeks a *Business* * Analyst* for a 9 month + contract.
- The successful candidate will have experience in: Performs and coordinates the analysis and design of *business* systems. - Develops and maintains a thorough understanding of the needs of the assigned customer group from the *business* and technical perspective. - Works closely with clients and with other system groups to capture * business* requirements and see them through implementation. - Develops and executes systems testing. Acts as a liaison between the * business* user groups and the technical systems groups. *Job Duties:* - Understand and adhere to full software development lifecycle Experience with estimating effort, scoping of work, change management and version control of work products. - Participate in project planning and scoping sessions with project managers and development team members. - Ability to work with *business* to define *business* requirements and work with development team to outline the proposed technology solution. - Strong written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Ability to absorb problems & present creative solutions within required timeframes. - Ability to work with team members across locations Entitlements BA - this need is for a Technical BA but this role will be focused more as administrative. - Experienced *business* *analyst* required to support newly identified projects in the Portal Program. - Portal Program includes 4 applications (Exposure Now, Risk Portal, Entitlements, CRWS). - New projects are in support of several initiatives including Entitlements for iGauss, AWM Portal, and Country Risk RAD applications.
