*JOB SUMMARY** (Describe in 2-3 sentences the purpose of this position):*

Responsible for overall test planning, execution, and verification tasks.
Responsible to ensure that essential business processes and requirements,
function as defined, resulting in the acceptance of the product and sign-off
for go-live readiness.



*ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (nature and scope of position, maximum of 10):*

·         Create and drive the testing strategy for corporate initiatives,
including internal testing, vendor testing and Partner testing.



·         Oversee the setup of test lab and test environments.



·         Ensure traceability of test cases/scenarios back to requirements.



·         Manage effort to identify and document test scenarios and test
cases, testing metrics, data required to test each test case and package
test results for retention.



·         Oversee the creation, maintenance, and building of a robust,
automated regression test bed to ensure no degradation in functionality from
release to release.



·         Responsible for overall implementation tasks in an enterprise
environment. Deliverables include implementation planning, scheduling,
roll-out activities and contingency planning across a multi-departmental
deployment.



·         Coordinate and provide direction for SIT & UAT activities (process
flows, test cases and scenarios, test matrix, test execution and test
results). Define minimum entry / exit criteria metric for each testing
phase.



·         Perform quality assurance reviews of key deliverables, report
status and metrics, track issues and risks.

·         Review and turn over the Test Result Package to the Director, QA
Testing Office and/or the Program Manager.



·         Ensure compliance of the testing process via on-going monitoring
and audits.

*QUALIFICATIONS:*

*Minimum Education and Experience:*

·         Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

·         Minimum of 6 years related work experience (i.e., prior Systems
and User Acceptance Testing experience).

·         Minimum *of 12 years leading, developing, and implementing complex
solutions* to meet business requirements.

·         Minimum of 3 years managing and mentoring other associates.



*Preferred Education, Additional Qualifications and Experience:*

·         Advanced degree

·         Demonstrated effective decision making, problem solving, and
strategic planning skills.



*Required Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities:*

·         Knowledge of the healthcare industry.

·         In depth knowledge of testing industry trends and best-practices.

·         Overall understanding of the health insurance industry.

·         Data and trend analysis techniques.

·         Ability to lead a diverse group to a common goal/solution.

·         Ability to mentor and provide guidance to others.

·         Ability to navigate in ambiguous situations with limited
direction.

·         Ability to deals with complex situations holistically.

·         Self-starter.

·         Business thinking and highly strategic in order to define
practical solutions that align with corporate strategy while requiring the
least amount of funding and people to implement.

·         Builds excellent working relationships throughout the company.

·         Effective negotiation skills.

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.

·         Strong organizational skills, with a track record of managing
multiple tasks effectively, as well as managing the tasks of others.

·         Ability to understand priorities and consistently meet deadlines
on – or ahead – of time.

·         Take initiative in finding solutions to difficult and/or sensitive

·         Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

·         Knowledge of IT and general technical solutions.

·         Proficient in office application: Word, Excel Visio, and
PowerPoint.

·         Understanding of Test Management tools (i.e., HP Quality Center)
and Test Automation tools (i.e., HP Quick Test Professional).

·         Perform other duties as assigned.
