ETL Tester
Location: chandler, AZ
Duration: 12 Months +
Rate:$45-50/hr
Client: Wellsfargo
Minimum Qualifications:
- Has advanced experience and knowledge in the creation, preparation, and
conduct of Quality Assurance and Software Testing processes with an
experience level of a minimum of 7 years.
- Experience on 5 or more projects from requirements inception to
production release.
- 5 years of experience with Mercury Quality Center or similar tool for
requirements / test case tracking; experience with Rational ClearQuest or
similar defect tracking tool.
- Must have 4+ years of experience constructing/executing SQL queries with
strong understanding of Oracle, DB2, SQL Server databases, with thorough
understanding of database stored procedures, views, joins, and functions.
- Experience running/testing batch commands and/or shell scripts on UNIX and
Windows servers and reviewing output, logs, etc.
- 5+ years of experience designing test plans and test scripts.
- 5+ years of experience conducting ambiguity analysis of requirements and
technical specifications.
- Experience with Data Migration Testing, ETL and/or Data Warehouse
testing.
- Experience with web services testing and understanding of standard data
format (XML), communication (SOAP) and programmatic interface (WSDL).
- Proven success in testing large scale, multi-tiered, integrated systems.
- Experience with testing web-based applications developed in Java or .NET
framework.
- Experience with deployment and validation of build packages to test
environments.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a diverse
environment.
- Experience leading Quality Assurance activities on one or more projects.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written in individual, group
and/or executive situations.
- Candidate can clearly articulate all phases, types of testing that may be
conducted within a standard development lifecycle.
- BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar
technical training/experience.
Preferred Skills:
- 2+ years experience of Mainframe Development and/or Testing experience,
with the following focus: JCL, DB2, Fileaid, VSAM, TSO
- Experience with Actimize solutions is highly desired.
- Experience with running/testing batch processes on Mainframe.
- Experience with Teradata implementations.
