Hi – Please suggest if you can do this project for our client in MI
Location: MI
Duration: 6-9 Months
This is a strong SAP Basis administration technical position with the
candidate also requiring basic background in system administration (on Unix,
Wintel or MF) or basic background in storage administration.
Hardware sizing experience is important – and needs to be mentioned in the
resume.
Functions:
The SAP Technical Lead will work with IT Project Teams to discuss,
understand, design, size and propose IT infrastructure components such as
servers, storage, databases, etc as per project requirements.
The lead will then be responsible to get a broad agreement of the overall
design and price the environment.
Once the design is finalized and approved, the Technical Lead will perform
knowledge transfer to IBM - Whirlpool's implementation partner - to perform
the physical install of the designed components.
The Lead will oversee the installation from a technical perspective and
ensure the final solution delivered by IBM complies with the required
infrastructure design.
Skills:
The successful candidate would be expected to have 8-10 years of strong
experience in SAP Basis administration.
The candidate needs to be technically strong and have implementation and
upgrade experience in various SAP components including R/3, BW, CRM and
Netweaver Java stack.
Previous experience in creating a technical architecture designs for SAP
implementations is required
Broad technical knowledge across infrastructure domains such as High
Availability, Disaster Recovery, etc is a definite plus
