Client is looking for a Senior .NET Consultant with a solid mix of .NET 3.5
(C#) Client-Server and .NET Web application development technology
experience, who’s familiar with any number of techniques for designing and
building high-quality software, including experience with: developing
application specifications, various object and data modeling techniques,
database design, test driven development, quality assurance best-practices,
and implementation support. This resource should have significant
experience around developing web services, real time programming and design
patterns.This role is a demanding, highly dynamic, technically challenging
position.
*Responsibilities: *
• Develop features and enhancements to new and existing .NET
client/server applications, using mainly C# within .NET 3.5 frameworks.
• Work collaboratively with other team members in all areas of
software development including requirements analysis, planning, object model
design, database schema design, root-cause analysis, deployment, testing,
and, of course, programming.
• Actively participate in team processes and use of methodologies,
including customized flavors of Agile and Extreme Programming.
• Care about the Customer Experience and being part of a
collaborative team.
*Requirements:*
• At least 5 years experience in C#, .NET, ASP.NET and SQL Server
application development.
• 5 years+ in multi-threading and real time programming
• Significant experience developing web services
• Solid experience working with Windows Communication Foundation
(WCF)
• Experience around the development of highly transactional,
low-latency applications is a major plus.
• Well-versed in both back-end and middle-tier development
• Solid understanding of Object-Orientated Analysis and Design
fundamentals
• Experience as member of multi-person software development team.
• Senior level experience creating applications using technologies
such as: C#, .NET, Web Services, XML, SQL Server, MSMQ, ASPX
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• MSMQ, SQL Reporting Services, or DBA experience a plus
