Complete Description:
The primary purpose of this position is to develop database systems
solutions, maintain existing databases and to support agency business
objectives through advanced data analysis, modeling, migration and
management.

*Skills Needed:*

1. Programming with SQL Server 2005/2008, SQL stored procedures, user
defined functions, cursors and query batches
2. Database design, development and management
3. Data modeling
4. Defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid
conclusions
5. Analyzing business processes and performing in-depth work analysis
6. Interfacing with end-users or clients
7. Work with Technical Team Lead and clients to define program requirements

Database management through maintenance of data dictionaries, data models,
performance tuning. Coordinates database changes and tests.

establish priorities independently

3. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to deal effectively in a team

Database design, modelling, installing, upgrading SQL server

SQL Server Configuration

User Data and Log File Management

Building and maintaining SQL scripts in Microsoft SQL Server.

Building and maintaining DTS packages.

Building and maintaining production SQL jobs.

Building & maintaining complex SQL queries for data analysis & data extract

Building and maintaining ETL scripts.

Building and maintaining data mart extraction processes.

Clear/excellent comminication skills for interface w/ end-users & clients

Experience in the Unemployment Insurance industry
