Job Title : SQL DBA Location : Columbus, OH Duration : 6+ Months Rate : $45/hr on C2C (sorry for the lower rate) Skills Required: • 5-7 Years of experience on Database Administration / Support Responsibilities • Should have worked extensively on Production servers of version MSSQL 2000, 2005 and 2008. • Installation & Configuration of MS SQL Server 2005 and 2008. • Performance monitoring (SQL profiler, Performance dashboard, Perform, etc) • Performance tuning existing code with developers (reviewing stored procedures/views/triggers etc), Index tuning, Partitioning • Database fragmentation & compression • Apply Patches & Hot fix • Database Mirroring (Build, Roll, maintenance & troubleshooting) • Replication (Transactional & Peer to Peer) • Clustering (Designing, Implementation and Troubleshooting) • Backups & restores, Server monitoring (MOM, Tivoli, etc) Data modeling • SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) • Experience on operational incident and project case.
