Skills:
** Advanced knowledge of SAP ECC 6.0, SAP BI, SAP Modules (SD, MM, FI, CO,
Oracle or SQL Server, SQL Language, XML, Structured Systems Analysis,
Internet Development Architecture & Design *
*Description of Position:
Lead Technical Lead / Architect will be responsible for producing
architecture/technical designs for multiple Contract Logistics applications.
* Will need to develop an archiving/data retention strategy.
* Will perform System Optimization - data model review, find ways to
improve query performance as well as that of data loads.
* Responsible to perform prototyping/evaluation of new functionalities.
* Participate in requirements gathering for new reporting requests.
* Proficient in development of strategies, standards and solution
approaches centered around the SAP package implementation and its
integration to non-SAP applications.
* Establish guidelines and standards around SAP package extension and
customization, including associated design, development and programming
standards for ABAP 3GL, object-oriented and Web Dynpro variants.
* Eextensive exposure to SD, MM, FI, CO DataSources and BW modeling. *
*SCOPE / COMPLEXITY
* Participate in establishing the technical strategy and standards for the
folloowing:
* Integration of SAP application functionality and workflows to non-SAP
applications.
* Experience in working with `Order to Cash` business processes is
preferred.
* Experience in delivering technical design documents applying design
patterns/best practices is required.
* Experience of integrating J2EE applications with SAP preferred.
* The Architect may have some management responsibilities include resource
planning, recruiting, training, hardware/software evaluation, procurement,
issue and risk
management, and product support. *
