*And revert back with updated profile to [email protected]* * * *Business Intelligence Application Support Analyst * Location: Atlanta, GA Duration: 9 months Experience: 7 Years Positions: 4 Functional/Technical Skills: • Strong trouble shooting skills. • Systems analysis skills to support/maintain operational systems • Strong communications skills (verbal and written) • Ability to multi-task and prioritize duties with respect to business needs • Expertise with enterprise data warehouses, preferably Teradata. • Expertise with data integration and scheduling tools, preferably Informatica and Tidal. • Expertise with reporting tools such as Business Objects XI, Merced and/or Hyperion. • Advanced knowledge of Statistical Analysis tools and modules such as SAS Marketing Automation and SAS Enterprise Miner. • Must be comfortable working with a variety of database technologies such as Teradata, Greenplum, Oracle and/or SQL Server. Experience with OLAP a huge plus. • Administration or operational support of SAS 9.x environments a huge plus. • High degree of skill with ETL load utilities such as mload, fastload, tpt, tpump, relational and flat file data delivery. • Very good knowledge of scheduling and job prioritization for a high demand 24/7 Business Intelligence organization. • Ability to write, debug and tune sql and pl/sql, packages, procedures, functions, triggers, etc. • Solid experience with the Unix operating system and command set as well as competence with shell scripting • Thorough knowledge of job, profile and group prioritization through Teradata Active System Management. • Good understanding of TCP/IP networking fundamentals. • Self-motivated • Flexible in work schedule to cover 24/7 operational support Someone who would be a subject matter expert on a couple of the areas (ETL and Informatica, Teradata, Business Objects, etc) and with just a good well rounded exposure to BI and large databases. Person who is strong with reporting tools, SQL and getting data out of the databases, working alongside another who is strong with ETL, data integration, etc and getting the data INTO the database.
