Job Description:
• Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs.
• Formulates systems to parallel overall business strategies.
Experienced with business process reengineering and identifying new
applications of technology to business problems to make business more
effective.
• Familiar with industry standards, current and emerging
technologies, and business process mapping, and reengineering.
• Prepares solution options, risk identification, and financial
analyses such as Cost/benefit, ROI, buy/build, etc.
• Develops RFPs. Business Analyst/Consultant capabilities with 4-7
years of experience in the field or in a related area.
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Performs a variety of tasks. A certain degree of creativity and
latitude is required.
• Specifically, provide expertise to a new teacher licensing system
project that will gather and document business requirements, define
and document technical, application, data and organization
architectures based on the business requirements, and participate in
the establishment and management of a RFP that will result in the
successful and within budget implementation of a procured solution
based on the architectures.
• An additional plus would be experience with licensing system
projects.
