*And revert back with updated profile to [email protected]* * * ** *Position: Epic Clarity - Crystal Report Writers* * Location: Sacramento, CA Duration: 6 months Experience Level : 6+ years Requirements: · Epic Clarity Certification (2009 required) and experience with Epic’s Clarity data model. · Extensive experience designing, creating, testing, and implementing complex reports using Crystal Reports and Business Objects Enterprise reporting tools. · Extensive experience with clinical reporting, specifically Epic’s Inpatient, Ambulatory, Willow, Stork and ASAP. · Experience building, testing, and implementing Reporting Workbench reports. · Experience with Epic-Crystal integration and working with Clarity Administrators a plus. · Experience with OLAP and OLTP technologies. · Knowledge of data warehouses/data stores and data marts, and experience using SQL query techniques to access Oracle or other relational databases. · Experience pulling data from Cache or other EMR databases. · Healthcare experience in Hospital, Ambulatory and Medical Practice. Understanding of inpatient, ambulatory, and clinical workflow related to reports. · Experience documenting and training users to run Reporting Workbench and Crystal Reports from Infoview. · Experience developing a test plan and executing test scenarios to validate data in reports. · Knowledge of Epic utilities for reports creation and maintenance, including ability to determine source data. · Excellent business analytical skills and general knowledge of statistics. · Ability to adapt to a changing environment, problem solve and develop solutions. Strong Documentation and Communication Skills. · Ability to translate user requirements into functional & design specifications. Responsibilities: · Provide expertise and perform report configuration, development, and design to supplement staff on the EMR Reporting team. · Creation of complex operational and project-related reports including design, documentation, development, testing, implementation and ongoing support using Reporting Workbench, Crystal Reports, and Business Objects Enterprise. · Analysis, design, documentation, development, testing, implementation and maintenance of Reporting user interfaces including alerts, prompts, screens, dashboards and templates. · Participate in meetings with stakeholders from physician groups, nursing, ED, OB, hospital service departments, information systems, clinic operations, management, executive leadership and reporting.
