Candidate must be extremely detail oriented and 100% accurate as the position is dealing with payroll. A person who works well on teams is also extremely important. Top daily responsibilities include pulling data for calculations, administering pay calculation, identifying and resolving data issues, working the data through the process to gain approvals for payments and submission of payments. At the end of the day this is a position that will be assisting or individually working with the sales force, finance and/or operations to calculate commissions monthly, quarterly and annually. Responsible for data analysis, validation, cleansing, collection and reporting. Extract and analyze data from various sources, including databases, manual files, and external websites in order to administer sales compensation plans. Respond to data inquiries from various groups within an organization. Create and publish regularly scheduled and/or ad hoc reports as needed. Experience with relational databases and knowledge of query tools and/or statistical software required. Strong analytical and organizational skills required. Must possess expert level knowledge of MS Excel. 3-5 years of prior experience as a Data Analyst is required.
