And revert back with updated profile to [email protected] *Oracle Finance Sr. Functional Consultant* *Location: SFO; CA* *Duration: 6+ months* *Also F2F discussion is necessary*** *Job Responsibilities:* - Provide functional expertise for the entire team, specifically for AR, Revenue Recognition, Collections, EB Tax, Vertex, Canadian GST, GL, AGIS - Facilitate effective communication between Business and IT organizations - Configure r12 test environments to provide functionality required by the business - Drive and manage to closure all functional issues, resolving conflict, negotiating compromise, and escalating to the Project Manager in a timely fashion. - Deliver end user training and to enable user adoption of the new system - Develop test scripts and provide hands-on assistance during testing cycles. - Identify potential risks that might affect project quality and expectations. - Ensure that all SOX standards are met and the project successfully passes SOX reviews and audits as appropriate. - Gather and document business/functional requirements - Communicate with the developers to ensure that customer requirements are translated to detailed design specifications and the result tested thoroughly *Qualifications Requirements * - Prior r11i – r12 upgrade experience. Additional r12 implementations a plus. - Comprehensive knowledge and hands on experience of working with Oracle E-business Suite (5 or more Oracle projects) focused on the core Financials application modules, including (AR, Revenue Recognition, Collections, EB Tax, Vertex) - An understanding of internal controls and financial reporting in public companies. - Business process analysis and redesign experience: strong business analysis skills; process mapping; business process redesign and implementation. - Systems implementation skills: requirements/process analysis, conceptual and detailed design, configuration, testing, training, change management, support - General consulting skills, including: team facilitation, business case development, and business process assessment / strategy. - Additional functional experience with AP, Payment Templates, Payment Formatting, FA, GL, Data Access Sets, AGIS, US GAAP, SOX & Sub Ledger Accounting would be an advantage - Excellent written, verbal, presentation and organizational skills - Ability to work independently in a complex, fast-paced environment - *Degree in Information Systems technology, Computer Science, Finance or related program preferred. * Regards Ria Sr. Resource Executive Net2Source Inc.
