*And revert back with updated profile to [email protected]* * * *QA Engineer with Core Java and testing, Junit, test case etc.* Location: San Jose, CA Duration: Long term basis * * *LOCAL Candidates required* * * - Candidate to be strong in Automaton testing and Core Java and the following Skills: - Java fundamentals – knowledge of object references, creating threads in java. - Fluent ability to write working java code. - Candidate needs to be able to describe their projects clearly and explain what exactly the role was and how they contributed. - Some candidates speak a lot and ramble along vaguely but don’t speak anything specific that they have done. - Somehow we have to ensure that they are earnest and have a learning aptitude. *For QA:* - For pure QA, I think candidates should be very smart in generating test cases and thinking creatively about problems. - For e.g. the email program that you are reading this email with, is a piece of complicated software tested by QA Engineers. - A good QA Candidate should be able to quickly list at least list 10 test scenarios to test if the program is working as intended or not. They have to ask the right questions first, to make sure that the requirements are clear as well. Good communication – very important. Smart functional testing skills. Should never say, ‘I don’t know how to test this’. should ask questions and figure out a way. Critical thinking – they should be able to think about a general problem outside their work domain.
