*Responsibilities:*
You will use your consulting background and technical knowledge to
succinctly convey the issues and needs to drive issues to closure across a
maxtrixed environment
Ability to draft process documentation. Must be able to communicate with Sr.
Mgmt and executive levels. Track LOB behavior in complying with remediation
SLA's across multiple platforms. Exercises judgment within broadly defined
practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation
criterion for obtaining results.
Works with Function/Process teams to refine requirements and develop/design
workable solutions to security issues
Work with development teams to carry out Application Security Reviews
Provide expert advice and consultancy to internal customers on risk
assessment, threat modeling and fixing vulnerabilities
*Qualifications:*
• 8-10 years of IT experience.
• *4+ years of application security experience (Within a large financial
institution)
*• Several years experience in *vulnerability testing and auditing*
• Solid experience and technical knowledge in *security engineering, system
and network security, authentication and security protocols, cryptography,
and application security
*
• *Knowledge of threat modeling*
• Development experience in Java, C++ and C
• *Scripting skills (e.g., Perl, Python shell scripting)*
• Knowledge of network and web related protocols *(e.g., TCP/IP, UDP, IPSEC,
HTTP, HTTPS, routing protocols)
*
• Expert-level knowledge of the detection, exploit, and prevention of
software vulnerabilities (i.e., *SQL Injection, XSS, buffer overflows*) as
well as emerging platform vulnerabilities (e.g., in Flash, AJAX)
