· At least 3 years of recent hands on experience using tools such as
*BMC Performance Assurance, Metron Athene, or other capacity management tool
*
· Administration level knowledge with *Tivoli* Endpoint and IBM
Tivoli Monitoring
· Experience in *scripting in* Perl, UNIX shell or Power Shell
· Experience developing SQL queries against complex capacity
planning databases
· Experience in capacity planning across major platforms: *SUN
Solaris* 10 LDOMS and containers, *IBM AIX* , LPARS, VIO and PowerVM, RedHat
Linux 4 & 5, Windows 2003 & 2008, IBM or HP Blades, SUN M and T series, IBM
pSeries, Vmware ESX/VSphere
· Experience in capacity planning across *storage platforms: EMC
VMAX, DMX, Clariion*, NetApp (NAS and SAN), Brocade fabrics. Software –
ECC, Ops Manager, Brocade Data Center Fabric Manager, Tivoli Storage Manger,
SRDF replication, Clariion Mirrorview, NetApp Snap Mirrors, experience with
thin over provisioned storage.
