duration: 1 year*
Primary Role
• JAVA/J2EE application development, which includes analysis, design, and
coding in support of business requirements.
• Formulate and document the physical object oriented design based on
business requirements and system specifications via use cases and object
modeling.
• Develop Unit Test Plans to ensure compliance with the specifications.
• Work with the Business Analyst via peer reviews and code inspections to
ensure code meets the business and system requirements.
• Work with other developers to ensure the code interdependencies are met
and fully tested via a formal system test plan.
Secondary Role:
• Manage the day to day Configuration Management tasks with the internal
Internet Services group.
• Coordinate implementation activities, integration test activities, and
manage progression of code releases from development through production.

CONSULTANT TO WORK, THE MANAGER WOULD ALLOW THE CANDIDATE TO WORK OUT OF THE
SOMERSET, NJ OFFICE AS AN ALTERNATIVE.
• At least 7+ years combined experience in enterprise level and web
based application design/development, implementation and production support.
• 3+ years Java development experience.
• 4+ years of Enterprise Java experience and J2EE Web Application
development experience including STRUTS.
• 2 years of architecture experience designing and implementing J2EE
systems.
• 1-2 years of experience using Web services, SOAP and Service Oriented
Architecture (SOA). .
• 2 years of experience with WebSphere Application Server.
• Hands-on experience in Databases, and SQL (UDB DB2) development and
Hibernate technology.
• Expert ability to identify and analyze requirements, to design,
develop and support effective, high-quality solutions.
Candidate must have at least seven years total IT experience and 4-5 years
of practical experience in designing and implementing Enterprise Java (J2EE)
applications (JSP, Servlets, and EJBs), Web Services and XML and STRUTS. 1-2
years of experience with WebSphere Middleware is also required. Demonstrated
experience in object-oriented software design including the modeling of
object hierarchies, behaviors, class structures and method. Team leadership
skills and very strong oral & written communication skills are required.
