The primary responsibilities include: -Review and analyze SDLC lifecycle documentation to determine whether all required elements have been included. -Consult with FX Product Management and FX Trading to document information about custom development needs, objectives, functions, features, and input and output requirements as well as system enhancements. -Analyze, define, and document requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, hardware and operating system environment, interfaces with other systems, compliance, and outputs. -Use Linux/Java to code to spec from Business Requirements and System Designs. -Utilize any special programming techniques necessary to achieve the most effective program, especially when creating custom execution algorithms as specified by FX traders. -Test code as well as run UAT testing with user community -Monitor and improve performance of new system after implementation. -Work as part of a team across multiple locations and time zones -End-end incident tracking and client follow-up, including post mortem. -Provide production support after new system implementation MAIN WORKING RELATIONSHIPS: -Application Support team -Onshore/offshore Development teams -Global Markets Product Managers -FX Sales and FX Trading teams -Operations and Data Center teams REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS: Linux, JAVA, SQL Server REQUIRED FUNCTIONAL SKILLS: Business Analysis, development, production support PREFERRED SKILLS: FIX protocol, XML, SDLC documentation OTHER SOFT SKILLS/INTANGIBLES: Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
