Title: Peoplesoft HR Technical Location: NYC,NY. Duration: 12 months Skills:Job Description Business Title: HR Technology – PeopleSoft Technical Analyst Role and Principal Accountabilities: • Work as a key member of the HR Technology team. This role will be focussed on the delivery of new projects along with support/ small enhancements work with a broad spectrum of PS technical skills required. • Contribute to impact analysis for issues/ change requests. • Responsible for technical analysis, design, build, test and deployment of assigned issues and changes. • Responsible for timeliness of delivery and identifying and escalating risks and issues related to assigned work. • Demonstrate rigour in documentation (impact analysis, technical designs, test scripts) & testing, and adhere to internal development standards. • Continuous focus on Quality. • Coordinate with Support/ enhancements technical lead to plan production releases. • Ensure accurate reporting of progress and contribute to KPI reports. • Provide technical support to functional resources as required. Skills and Experience (Essential): • Skills required for support/ enhancement activities: o Strong technical skills (5+ years) with Application Engine, Component Interface, PeopleCode, advanced SQL, SQR, Crystal, PeopleSoft Security Administration, Application Messaging, Integration Broker, Workflow, XML Publisher etc. o Good functional knowledge of PS HCM modules. Including core HR, Base Benefits, Benefits Administration, ESS/ MSS (collaborative apps) and Payroll Interface. • General skills required o Strong organizational and planning skills o Strong analytical & problem solving skills o Good interpersonal skills • Experience: o Understanding of HR data models (HRMS 9.0) o Technical delivery experience of PS HRMS full lifecycle implementations o 5+ years of HR systems (PeopleSoft) experience in a business support role Skills and Experience (Desirable): • Experience of Banking Sector • Experience of PeopleTools Upgrades/ Patching • Data Migration tools (Data Mover, SQL etc) • Experience with Workflow, Integration Broker and basic Peoplesoft administration. • Exposure to Self-Service (ESS/MSS) functionality in any collaborative applications is desired • Working with SQL Server databases. • Experience with STAT release management tool. • Working in global delivery teams. • Exposure to Documentum is a significant plus.
