- A fast learner and problem solver who can adapt to a non windows based
environment swiftly.
- Introduce standard QA automation process and practice, like documented
test plan/ test script, increase in level of automation, performance
metrics.
- Analyzes and decides test cases for automation.
- Convert the Business Knowledge inputs obtained from Business Analyst
and devise solution for automation.
- Effectively implement and utilize test method tools in a timely manner
consistent with project deadlines
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain QA automation of functional,
regression, load and performance automation tests
- Debug and modify automation scripts as the target application changes.
- Design, script, maintain test automation framework, specifically in
QTP, Windows Script Host (WSH), MSOffice automation, and VBScript/VBA.
- Provide feasible solutions to obtain optimum productivity from Team
Members (less interdependencies, constraints and overheads).
- Lead the team technically and share the knowledge in efficient manner
which would increase the productivity and confidence of team.
- Should share a portion of technical work assigned to the Test
Engineers.

- 6-8 years of software testing experience.
- Experience in estimation techniques like use case estimation, function
point estimation etc
- Allocates tasks to testing resources and monitors execution progress
- Demonstrate and encourage the use of testing best practices and
continuous improvement
- Expertise in test management tools like HP Quality Center, Rational
Test Manager etc.
- Ability to provide concise and accurate status reports for testing
effort to the client
- Review content and structure of all Testing documents and reports.
- Motivate team members.
- Identify and analyze issues, and escalates risk related to testing
tasks
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in preparing test plans and test schedules.
- Knowledge of the principles of Quality Processes and Configuration
Management
- Experience in retail domain will be an added advantage

- Manage activities for more than one project at a time
- Responsible to look after every detail related to QA of the project and
identify issues and risks
- Plan out resource needs for the project and chart out a task to
completion plan
- Responsible for developing and maintaining cordial relationships with
clients and team members. Must be able to act as a link between both the
parties.
- Deal with problems that may arise within the team or issues with the
clients.
- Conduct regular meetings with team members to know the status of the
projects and make necessary changes to achieve the desired results.
- Supervise team members and determine if they are working efficiently.
- 8-12 years of software testing experience
- Identify required test phases, test types, and test methods, test
environment.
