Position: QA TEST DIRECTOR
Location: Franklin Lakes, NJ
Duration: Full Time Position
Salary: 100-125K/Annum
Technical Specialist Software Quality Assurance & Engineering
Qualifications:
Minimum of 10+ years IT experience, with 5+ years direct experience with
Software Quality Assurance through automation ideally in an agile
environment, at an enterprise level. Preferably in a large delivery
organization (>600 development resources), geographically distributed.
Experience with deployment and change management involving common SDLC
methodologies (RUP, CMMI, Lean)
Comprehension and demonstrated knowledge of software development lifecycle,
including financial management, Agile software development methodologies,
metrics, and procedures.
Job Responsibilities:
Your role and our needs
* Testing and SQA processes and personnel/staffing along industry
frameworks.
* Engage key business and technical stakeholders in building knowledge, end
state design, roadmap, and support for same.
* Create test plans and identify test scenarios at an enterprise or project
level.
* Conduct post-mortem analysis and create recommendations for cure in
tactical situations.
* Create testing policy and standards, establish governance and enforcement
/ training mechanisms.
* Create test plans from Functional Requirements Documents
* Create test automation using Jmeter, JUnit, Java, Selenium, Selenium Grid,
or other similar tools.
* Be the Medco "go-to" resource for SQA.
* Participate with clients and partners on multilateral testing exercises.
* Be able to present and argue the technical, business and financial
benefits of your plans to an audience of senior management.
Overall
* Excellent communication skills, strong analytical abilities, a positive
attitude and willingness to be a team player
* Experience as a software engineer is a must
* Experience working in dynamic fast-paced/agile environment. Multitasking
and self-driven person. Able to take charge and turn the unclear into clear.
* Excellent analytical and problem solving skills. Demonstrated ability to
understand product architecture and apply different testing approaches.
* Passionate about technology, enthusiastic and energetic
Specifically
* Data identification, extract/download tools, data loading/refreshing
* Deep understanding of Web technologies, client / server technologies,
performance and automation testing.
* Deep understanding of CICS/DB2 and VSAM files and use of same for
automated testing.
* Understanding of distributed/grid computing is a plus
* Deep understanding of SOA and REST as well as test automation of same.
* Understanding of Mobile technologies and testing of same
* Experience with Web Services Technologies testing - XSD, Xpath, XSLT,
WS-*, SOAP. IBM Datapower is a plus.
* Experience in Project Risk Identification. Looking through business
processes (kpms) and identifying risk
*Identifying project risk by working with SMEs
* Identifying code coverage risk - code coverage tools for Java, COBOL,
XSLT, Pega Rules, VB, .NET
* Identifying data risk - data coverage tools Configuration Data changes
(db2 , vsam, oracle)
Automated Testing tools
* Experience in building and operating a comprehensive continuous build /
test process.
* Experience leading and optimizing release schedules to optimize test
benefit / minimize risk.
* Experience with Java based Automation and SQL is strongly preferred
* Understanding of component/capability based testing.
Education Required:
BS (MS a plus) Software / Systems engineering, minor in business management
