Position: Project Manager with HR & HP Quality Center Duration: 6 months (Contract to Hire position after 6 months) Location: Bentonville, Arkansas Rate: $60.00 per hour.....negotiable. Job Description - Project Manager: Responsibilities....prefer someone with HR & People Systems and HP Quality Center background. Plan and manage projects of varied complexity and life cycle models. Be accountable for timely and quality deliverables during the transition and operational phases of the engagement. Manage geographically distributed teams. Enforce standards and guidelines that need to be followed in the engagement. Analyze and establish SLAs where it is not available already. Request for and track the availability of hardware, software, human and other resources required for successful execution. Proactively and diligently identify issues and risks and take necessary steps to mitigate them. Coordinate with various departments for the smooth running of projects. Organize and manage review meetings with team and customer. Exhibit judgment in establishing priorities and escalating issues. Identify and establish an effective metrics program to manage and assess SLAs/OLAs. Facilitate lessons learned sessions, analyze findings and propose improvements. Maximize re-use opportunities of project artifacts. Establish and maintain good relations with all interfacing groups and individuals. Provide thought leadership and direction to team on quality and testing principles and practices. Maintain high motivation levels and positive dynamics in the team. Champion a continuous improvement approach. Technical Skills Technical Skills: Technical competencies corresponding to the listed responsibilities are mandatory. Proven experience in managing large, geographically distributed, multicultural teams. Strong experience in the use of HP Quality Center or similar tool for test management. Domain knowledge in HR and other people systems is highly desirable. Should be able to function effectively in a leadership role in a multi-vendor situation where disparate interests prevail. Should be a proactive and high energy individual with the ability to quickly build rapport and gain the confidence of client management as well as the team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must Realm of Interactions.
