Description:
Release Manager/coordinator (Technical Project Manager) The Release
Manager/coordinator functions as a technical project management
position with primary accountability for managing application releases
from planning and development through production implementations.
The Release Manager works with change, incident, testing team and
environments manager to ensure coordination of changes through all
environments. Someone with strong technical project management skills
and attention to detail would be the ideal candidate.
Detailed Job Duties:
Accountable for creating, managing and maintaining the Master
Release Schedule
Accountability and coordination for all release activities from
development through production implementation
Accountability and coordination for developing and training of
standard release processes
Accountability and coordination for incorporating vendor applications
into the release processes
Review environment requirements
Work with Build Manager to establish the release components
Communicate plans, status, and issues to higher management levels
Work closely with the in-house testing, infrastructure, environment
and Production Operations teams
Continually look for process improvements in the release process.
Required Skills:
1. Strong Release Coordination/Management experience 2. Agile/Scrum
experience 3. Strong critical path management experience 4. Program/
project metrics reporting knowledge 5. Excellent team building skills
6. Team player 7. Excellent Communication Skills - verbal and
written 8. Ability to work with all levels in the organization 9.
Strong experience with the following:
communication planning, issue management, risk management, planning
processes, project scheduling
10. Ability to meet tight timeliness,11. Organizational Skills,12.
Proactive on issues,13. Strong presentation/facilitation skills
1. This person will be working on multiple projects.
2. Interviews- in-person preferred but video conference is OK.
3. This is new and on-going development
