Test Architect - Muncie, IN Salary - Up to 100K max Full Time Position Validates client solutions and data by translating business requirements into testable requirements, using test methodologies and actions. Creates testing strategies and plans by applying testing methodology as appropriate for each client solution. Utilizes test tools, test methodology, best practices and standard quality assurance processes. * Works with cross functional teams to ensure all test plans, test data and the testing environment is defined and test-ready. * Develops, monitors and implements testing method, test planning risk analysis, test acceptance criteria, testing reports. * Manages defect process; escalates testing issues as appropriate. * Assists test team in assuring the following project components are met: test planning, creating and updating the traceability matrix, creating, maintaining and updating the test cases and test scripts, tracking defects and providing testing and status reports to the internal team and/or client updates. * Helps with gathering and delivering testing metrics as appropriate. * Manages the defect tracking and resolution process for testing. * Reports defects to affected team members. * Monitors defect resolution efforts and track successes. * Documents test procedures to ensure consistency, replication ability and compliance to standard testing artifacts. * Utilizes and shares testing best practices. * Identifies process improvement measures. * Help define repeatable processes / automation to increase efficiency. * Stays informed and evaluates the latest Acxiom and industry news, trends, products, services, competitors and relevant existing and emerging technologies in order to keep testing methods/processes technologically current. * Develops, maintains and shares testing best practices.
