*Position:* Sr. iSeries (AS/400) Engineer *Length:* 6+ months *Location:* Dallas, TX *Rate: *depending on experience * **Required skills: * • At least 5+ years of iSeries experience with a focus on system performance and application optimization • Experience using performance tools such as IBM’s iDoctor (Job Watcher, PEX, Heap Analyzer, Disk Doctor) • Experience running and analyzing DBMon collections. • Experience with running and monitoring batch jobs. • Knowledge of various performance optimization and design techniques for any or all: batch, interactive, client server, web • Experience with gathering and documenting requirements. • Fundamental understanding of performance testing methodologies, processes and general procedures. • Ability to analyze and document problems and defects, reporting defects and track defect status • Ability to analyze test results and make valid conclusions; work with project teams to resolve performance issues • Responsible for delivering the project on time and within budget while meeting all quality objectives • Responsible for communicating project status, resolving project issues, and ensuring effective process improvement feedback * Nice to have skills (not required): * • Performance monitoring skills on other platforms (SQL Server, Tomcat, Apache…) • Java and / or .NET application knowledge with a focus on application performance • WAS experience on the iSeries • Experience with Collection Services and analysis • Experience with performance tuning of iSeries programs, processes • Experience with Mercury Quality Center • Proficient in SQL Regards, Kevin [email protected] -- *************************************************************************************** For all SAP related tutorials,Articles,Faqs,Tips www.sapbrainsonline.com **************************************************************************************** You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "sapbrains" group.
