The technical environment includes distributed web systems across 6 environments and includes technology such as Websphere Application Server, Adobe LiveCycle, Tivoli Access Manager, Mule Enterprise Server Bus, and Oracle database. The Linux/WAS admin will also assist with build and configuration management activities such as deployment into new environments, coordination of tasks across internal and external team, and provide repeatable processes for migrations. The candidate should have strong presentation and communication skills. State government experience is preferred but not required for this role. REQUIRED SKILLS: • Must have hands-on and extensive experience with IBM technology - specifically application server (WebSphere Application Server), web servers (IBM HTTP Server) • Must have hands-on experience in administering WAS through the admin console and associated server configuration • Prior experience with servers (Linux, VMWare), exposure to databases (Oracle). • Fundamental Understanding of the following concepts: SSL, Secure Certificates, Load Balancing, Session Replication, Dynacache, Content Switching, Application / JVM Tuning, TCP/IP, DNS, LDAP, firewalls • In depth knowledge of the Configuration Management and Configuration management concepts and tools. Knowledge of Subversion (SVN) preferred.
